This 16 days Kenya and Tanzania happy holidays tour and adventure takes you to some of the world leading premier national parks and game reserves in Africa, Kenya and Tanzania on a combined East Africa Kenya and Tanzania combined tours visiting , Kenya Nairobi, Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Victoria speke bay  to Tanzania safari, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, cross border  winding up in Amboseli National parks with dro[p off back to your Hotel in Nairobi or airport drop off for your outbound flight. This is a private safari trip to a small joining group tour of not less than 2 persons booking together.

The accommodations range from budget camping safari tour, budget lodges and tented camps to mid-range safari lodges and luxury high end tented camps located right inside the park giving you an ultimate and Authentic East African Safari experience of a lifetime.


Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi JKIA (Airport).

Upon landing at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport Kenya Nairobi, You will be met and received by a warmly African way of welcome by one of Wild race Africa Safari Holidays Tours airport representative who will then introduce you to your guide for this trip.

You will then be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay waiting for the next day trip departure. Dinner and overnight at Nairobi Stanley Hotel / Nairobi Serena safari lodge Hotel/ Nairobi Eka Hotel or any of similar depending on your comfort level preference and budget.

Day 2: Nairobi / Samburu big cat Adventure tours.

Morning picks up from your Hotel by your Guide, clear the balances if you had not and then set out to Samburu National park for the excellent view and close encounters with the big cat family. The Kenya road safari trip to the north of the Equator to the famous and promising land of all wildlife view Ashnil Samburu Camp/ Samburu centrism luxury tented camp/ Samburu Sopa lodge / Samburu elephant bedroom or any of similar for dinner and overnight depending on your budget and taste preference. Both the lodges are located right inside the Samburu National park which is at the edge of Kenya’s semi-desert lands

Day 3: Full day spent Exploring Samburu Safaris

You will encounter the animals and vegetation that are typical of this region and cannot be found somewhere else apart from here. The animals vary from the Grevy’s Zebra, the Reticulated Giraffe the generuk also known as the giraffe antelopes, the beifa oryx,  the Somali Ostrich not to mention the obviously seen platoon of elephants, the cheetah, the leopard, and the lions.

The best feature of Samburu is not just the wildlife of the picturesque surroundings, but the fact that it is one of the lesser visited regions in Kenya giving you a complete set of Kenya Safari adventure away from the crowd of cars and lodges.

The peaceful atmosphere and the authentic wilderness experience set it apart from the better-known wildlife reserves in Kenya, there is plentiful wildlife and the bird watching is especially good. The reserve is fairly hot and semi-arid, making for easy game viewing in this harshly beautiful terrain where wildlife abounds along the Uaso Nyiro River, the park’s only source of drinking water.

Day 4: Samburu/ Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Check out after breakfast and drive south to the Sweetwaters Sanctuary for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Visit the remarkable Chimpanzee and Rhino Sanctuaries. Incorporated within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the sanctuary is the only place in Kenya where the highly endangered and remarkably intelligent chimpanzee can be seen and houses the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. Dinner and overnight stay Sweet Waters Tented Camp, experiencing the charming ambiance of under-canvas living.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru best Birding Trails

Today after breakfast you descend into the Rift Valley via Thomson's Falls to Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch. Here, due to an abundance of algae in the lake, flamingoes famously line the shores sometimes (in season) all that can be seen is an incredible moving mass of pink! Enjoy an afternoon game drive hopefully spotting beautiful flamingos on the lake and the resident rhino. Thereafter you will be checked in at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp/ Lake Nakuru Sarova Lion Hills or any of similar where you will spend your overnight

Day 6: Lake Nakuru/ Masai Mara National Game Reserve

A drive across the lunar landscape of the Great Rift Valley will take you to Kenya’s best-known game reserve the Maasai Mara. Check in at the Mara Serena Lodge before you begin to explore the rolling hills and plains for a wonderful sight of the great numbers of different species of animals found here. Two days filled with game viewing activities to look for the park’s more than 60 species of animals, and perhaps see a lion kill.
This is where the great migration of the wildebeest takes place at the end of June and extends to early September.

Day 7: Maasai Mara trailing the big five and the Wildebeest Migration.

Full day spent exploring the Masai Mara game reserve in search of the big five as they follow on the heels of the wildebeest Masai Mara Great Migration Trails. Check out of Mara serena safari lodge, Mara sarova Game lodge, Mara samba lodge, Mara Sopa lodge for mid-range and  Ilkeliani Tented camp for the economy and proceed for further game drives in the vast Masai Mara plains in search of the big 5 – as you trail the wildebeest herds.

A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed from early July to October. The reserve abounds with birdlife since the dose to about 452 species has been recorded. Hot air balloon safaris are readily available in this park

Day 8: Maasai Mara big 5, Great Migration and Victoria Adventure

Early check out after breakfast and dive to the border point of Isebania where you will cross the border into Tanzania, and meet our Tanzanian driver. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route to the Speke Bay Lodge situated on the shores of Lake Victoria. The afternoon is free to take optional excursions such as a canoe-trip on Lake Victoria to a fishing village, a mountain bike trip through Masamba hills, fishing on Lake Victoria, a lake cruise or a bird walk.
(NOTE: Today’s drive is very long from the Mara Serena Lodge to Speke’s Bay and can take upward of 8+ hours depending on road conditions, game sightings en-route as well as the border crossing time from Kenya into Tanzania at Isebania)

Day 9: Lake Victoria Speke Bay Lodge / Tanzania Serengeti Adventures.

Morning breakfast followed by 3 to 4 hrs drive to the Serengeti Plains, game watching all day en route to the Serengeti Serena Lodge/ Serengeti Sopa lodge / Serengeti Mbuzi Mawa Safari lodge or any of similar depending on your budget.
A full day in the world famous Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives discover the thrill of encountering the ‘Big 5’ - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. The Serengeti National Park is one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas. Tanzania's oldest game reserve, it is renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration of two million antelopes. This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience.

Day 10:  Full days Spent Exploring Serengeti National Park 

Serengeti National Park, Serengeti safaris, Serengeti trips, holidays, Tours and vacations are one of the east African safari trips that would blow off your mind, this is the wildest African garden of Eden of them all. A day spent viewing the game in the vast Serengeti plains morning and afternoon game drives are offered, Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Serena Lodge/ Serengeti Sopa lodge / Serengeti Mbuzi Mawa Safari lodge or any of similar depending on your budget.

Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants

Day 11: Serengeti - Ngorongoro crater Safari tour packages.

After breakfast depart in your 4x4 safari vehicle towards the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, stopping to visit the Olduvai Gorge, site of archaeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years were discovered, and have a picnic Lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon with late lunch in the lodge at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or any of similarly located at the rim of the crater in time to view the magnificent sunset. 

The afternoon spent exploring and enjoying the lodge facilities at leisure.

Day 12: Promised Land discovery - Wildrace Africa Ngorongoro crater floor tours and adventures.

Spend the morning visiting the crater floor, your 4x4 vehicle takes you down the steep walls of the Caldera into the primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp and plain that shelter approximately 20,000 animals. With picnic lunch boxes serve at the crater floor as you interact freely with the Ngorongoro crater wildlife.

Day 13: Ngorongoro crater tours/ Lake Manyara National Park Adventures – Wildrace Africa Promised Land Tours.

Spend a pleasant morning being driven to Manyara National Park where you will check in at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, famous for its lovely views of the Rift Valley. Lunch at the lodge is followed by an afternoon game drive in the park, renowned for a large elephant and buffalo population. Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions and you may have the opportunity to locate a few perched high in the trees.

Day 14:  Lake Manyara Safaris/ Amboseli Tours Kenya – Wildrace Africa photogenic Tours

After breakfast, with game viewing en route, drive through the Namanga Border to one of the most popular parks in Kenya, Amboseli National Park, home to around 900 elephants. Located near Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest freestanding mountain, weather permitting you will be able to witness the snow-capped peak to arrive by evening with a game drive Amboseli Serena Lodge/ Amboseli ol tukai lodge/ Amboseli Sopa or Amboseli Kibo luxury tented lodge

Day 16: Amboseli National park/Nairobi Hotel/JKIA –  Amboseli trips, holidays and vacation tours.

Early Morning game drive bidding by to the Majestic Elephants of Amboseli and the snow-capped Kilimanjaro, back to the lodge for breakfast and later check out after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route or late lunch at carnivore restaurant 9optional )with drop off to the  Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey
