You’ll be picked from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve (265 km – Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner   

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Nairobi. As you travel through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, enjoy the stunning vistas and vibrant landscapes that Kenya is known for.

Upon arrival at the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve, prepare for an exhilarating afternoon game drive. Explore the savannah for diverse wildlife, including lions, elephants, and zebras. This is your first taste of the Mara's rich biodiversity.

At dusk, settle into the comforts of Mara Osero Safari Lodge, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner and share tales of the day’s adventures.

Day 2: A Full Day of Wonders in Masai Mara National Reserve

Days spent exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big 5 with a possibility of seeing the annual wildebeest migration in Masai Mara. This trip is also best for those who want to take Kenya’s budget safari to include an optional hot air balloon safari which can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve- Activities on Lake Naivasha

Start your day with a nourishing breakfast, fueling up for an exciting day ahead. After your meal, set off for Lake Naivasha, a breathtaking freshwater lake renowned for its stunning scenery and vibrant ecosystems.

The journey to the lake is enhanced by picturesque views of the surrounding landscape, characterized by lush vegetation and rolling hills.

Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of relaxing activities. One highlight is a serene boat ride on the lake, where you can glide across the tranquil waters while keeping an eye out for fascinating wildlife.

Look for hippos lounging in the shallows or surfacing for air, and keep your binoculars handy to spot a plethora of bird species, including majestic herons and colorful kingfishers that flit gracefully across the sky.

For those seeking a bit more adventure, consider embarking on a guided walking safari in the area.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha -Amboseli National Park trip (350 km – Approx. 5-6 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

This morning, we’ll take perhaps one more walking tour before heading to Amboseli National Park. On the way, we’ll take a break from our drive and stop to view more scenic vistas.

Amboseli is a small park that is very densely populated with wildlife. You’re guaranteed elephant sightings, as well as the stunning backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which frames the park. The great mountain and the massive elephant herds create a feeling that is different from our other parks but one that you will enjoy.

If we’re lucky, this evening, the cloud cover hovering over Kilimanjaro's peaks will disperse, leaving us with views of its glorious snow-capped summit.

The following day, we’ll take one more game drive through the park, bidding farewell to the friendly giants of Amboseli.

Overnight at your Amboseli National Park Sentrim safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Amboseli to Tsavo West: (100 km – Approx. 2 Hrs.)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

It’s two hours to our final park, the striking Tsavo West. This is one of Kenya’s oldest parks and offers a vivid landscape of hills, golden savannahs, and luxuriant oases.

We’ll spend the day here on game drives, circling giraffes, buffalo, hartebeest, dik-dik, monkeys, and baboons.

At Mzima Springs, a verdant, lush watering hole, expect hippos. And you’ll love the special underwater viewing platform where you’ll enjoy a unique perspective of these aquatic creatures.

Also, look for crocodiles and other wildlife along the shores. Your final night of the safari will be spent here, and in the morning, we’ll take off on one more game drive in this celebrated national reserve.

Day 6: Tsavo West and Kenya Mombasa Beach Resort

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch  

Now, it’s a quick drive to the train station at Mtito Andei for your trip to the coast. On the way there, you’ll pass through Tsavo West and Tsavo East Park, so there are still more opportunities to view these reserves and possibly some wildlife.

At the train station, your driver/guide will assist you with tickets and transfer to the Madaraka Express, the new high-speed train to Mombasa and the coast.
