9 Days Saruni Experience

The Saruni Collection is a group of luxurious individual lodges and tented camps located in some of Kenya's most beautiful and private wildlife conservancies. These lodges not only offer fantastic wildlife spotting opportunities but they also provide elegant comfort while you do so. Saruni is the only place in East Africa where you can experience the thrill of tracking rhinos on foot. Located in the wild northern frontier of Kenya, not only will you get to see these creatures on foot – a very different experience to being in a vehicle or from the air – you will also be contributing to the protection of this iconic animal. You will fly from Nairobi into the Samburu National Reserve, where you will stay for two nights at the Saruni Samburu and enjoy game drives by day. The real adventure begins once you leave and head north to Saruni Rhino, where you will spend a further two days tracking rhinos with your guide and ranger – first by vehicle and then on foot. Your last three days will be spent in the most famous safari area of them all: the Masai Mara. Flying from Samburu National Reserve to the Mara, you will enjoy game drives and the option to stay at Saruni Wild, a luxurious tented camp in the heart of the Masai Mara.
